Canel is located in the south of France in the department of Lot & Garonne, just south of the Dordogne. An area known for its fantastic food and purple wine, gently rolling countryside and historical towns.
Canel was built in the 16th century as a fortified farmhouse in the small hamlet of Thézac. It is just 4km from the medieval bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais which can be seen from the terraces.
A perfect place to unwind, explore unspoilt countryside, enjoy French cuisine and visit historical medieval towns.
